Man on a mountain ridge at sunset holding a phone in an Atmos rugged case

product / campaign / film

Atmos USA

Atmos makes a sealed, waterproof case that turns an ordinary phone into something you can take anywhere. The product, the campaign, and the film, all shot in the places the case is actually for rather than a studio's idea of them.

The Product

Front and back on black, lit so the seal and the machined edges read before anything else. The entire pitch is that nothing gets in, so the photograph has to make the housing look like it means it.

In The Field

A case like this is only interesting where a normal phone would already be finished. Dust, glare, dry grass, and a plate carrier. In both portraits the phone is mounted on the rig rather than held for the camera, because that is how it actually gets carried.

03

In Motion

A minute on the water. The film takes the same product to the opposite end of the range from the stills, which is the whole argument: one case, salt and dust both.
